 Brief Biography After a successful first career as a 12-year local government lobbyist, Kimberly Joi McDonald is forging an exciting additional career in the interior design world! Kimberly was previously the State Legislative Affairs Officer/Lead Lobbyist for the City of North Las Vegas at the Nevada Legislature. As of July 2008, Kimberly became a new entrepreneur! She is the Owner and CEO of Designing JOI, LLC, an interior design consultation firm, and Designing JOI Services, Inc., as well as Principal of Tactical Strategies, LLC (www.tacticalstrategies.org), a government affairs and legislative consultation firm. Through Designing JOI, LLC, her goals are to execute successful, beautiful and custom sustainable designs, for both residential and commercial projects, with efficient, functional spaces tailored to meet the client’s needs. One of her other major goals is to complete writing her inspirational, yet suspense-filled autobiographical thriller of overcoming various critical health obstacles.
